Werner’s proprietary neutral bent shaft not only offers comfort, but a stable leverage point during forward, reverse, and vertical moves. Adding to the Double Diamond’s performance are its uniquely designed foam core blades that provide exceptionally smooth feathering, and clean entries and exits from the water. Smooth and Performance best describe this paddle. The carbon blades reduce weight while maintaining stiffness and strength.

“The Camano Carbon Touring Paddle from Werner Paddles features the popular Low Angle blade design. The Camano’s mid size blades offer the perfect combination for paddlers who want power yet use a relaxed all around touring stroke. The Camano Carbon also offers the best balance of light swing weight and smooth forward strokes. Its low angle design is perfect for both short and long distance paddling. You can’t go wrong with a Camano in your hands. Also, the Camano is available in two shaft types, Straight or Neutral Bent Shaft. Both have their advantages: Paddlers are more familiar with straight shafts and like the light weight and ability to move their hands along a predictable, straight, and continuous grip area. Straight shafts are typically less expensive. The Werner Neutral Bent Shaft naturally aligns your wrist to reduce stress on joints. The neutral alignment, unique to Werner Paddles, creates a stable leverage point f

“

“The Mid by Swift is their most popular blade size and an excellent choice for most touring kayakers. The Mid Swift delivers plenty of pull and control in rough water conditions, yet it is quite well behaved when the wind blasts against it. We find this to be the ideal paddle for extended paddling in varied and changeable conditions and the only paddle many kayakers will ever need. Modified Dihedral: Upon insertion into the water, the Swift blade begins with a powerful cambered design which immediately grabs the water. This gradually transitions to an increasing dihedral as the stroke progresses providing power throughout the stroke but without the instability associated with fully cambered blades. Hyperbolic Spoon: Working hand in hand with the cross section above, in place of the usual consistent curve, the amount of spoon actually increases towards the tip of the blade providing more power at the entry into the water. Highly Refined Construction: The standard Swift paddle is lighter than or as light as most other graphite paddles. The reason is a highly re-fined, layered construction in which every component is essential and all others have been eliminated.

“
