“The Eclipse series by Perception has proven to be one of the most popular expedition touring series ever sold to kayakers. With its outstanding combination of initial stability and speed, the Eclipse is the all around platform that has helped many people explore so many beaches, oceans and bays. To improve on the Eclipse boat the Dagger team wanted to increase the secondary stability found in the Eclipse models while preserving its other hull characteristics. Second, Dagger wanted to create an outstanding expedition touring design that addresses the needs of smaller paddlers and women. Dagger achieved this goal with the release of two new boats that feature the best all around paddling hull to be released for expedition touring by Perception.
